How can your organization participate?

• Meet criteria outlined in Guidelines for Participation.
• Be a 501-c-3 organization, program of a registered 501-c-3, public school program, local government entity or faith based organization demonstrating funding will be used for public outreach in Gaston County.
• Complete the Non-Profit Agreement form and submit it to the Community Foundation for review and approval. You must have a signed copy returned to you to be eligible to participate in the Run for the Money. The deadline to participate has passed.
• Have at least one volunteer to help with the event (completing 5 hours of service) and one runner or walker in the race.
• Entry forms for the race and the walk will be available February 15th at the Community Foundation office, our website, in the Gaston Gazette and at the Gaston Co. Public Library branches.

• Please remember:

  The intention for Run proceeds is to fund a project or initiative that participating Non-profit Organizations cannot support under their regular operating budget. The intention is also that Run proceeds NOT be used to cover regular operating expenses that Non-Profit Organizations incur on a daily basis.

  
  Items the Community Foundation considers operating expenses, which would not be funded by Run proceeds, include: Rent/ Mortgage, Utilities, Equipment lease, Administrative expenses (Regular Staff expense), Insurance, Maintenance.
