What happens on run day?

Every Gaston County citizen, no matter the age, is encouraged to join the fun that will take place on Saturday, April 19, 2008, 9:00 AM in Downtown Gastonia at the Rotary Pavilion.
There will be a competitive 5K run and and a non-competitive 2K walk.
The 5K and the 2K will both begin at 9:00 AM.
There will be food, family fun zone, great music, non-profit display booths and lots of awards!
Entry forms for the race and the walk will be available on February 15th at the Community Foundation office, our website, in the Gaston Gazette and at the Gaston Co. Public Library branches.
Overall race winners, male and female, designate $1,000 for the non-profit of their choice. There are additional prizes for first and second place in each age category - male and female. Winners will be announced on Run Day after the race. See below for categories:
