Cypress of Charlotte Scholarship

  • Established to assist qualified employees or dependents of employees who plan to pursue a secondary education

Established by residents of Cypress of Charlotte to reflect the caring spirit that is present within the Cypress community.

The Cypress of Charlotte Scholarship Program was established by residents of Cypress of Charlotte to reflect the caring spirit that is present within the Cypress community. 

The purpose of Cypress of Charlotte Scholarship Program is to assist qualified employees or dependents of employees who plan to pursue a secondary education at an accredited school, college or university, or are pursuing the completion of a GED program or a CNA program.

Please note all GED and CNA programs must be through a non-profit organization, if not a non-profit organization they will not be covered by this scholarship.

All scholarship funds will be used for tuition and fees only.

Eligibility

An employee applying for a Cypress of Charlotte scholarship should:

  1. Have completed one year of employment at Cypress of Charlotte;
  2. Have maintained a good work and attendance record;
  3. Have completed the scholarship application, including the required attachments;
  4. Award is contingent upon continued employment at Cypress.

 

An employee dependent applying for a Cypress of Charlotte scholarship should:

  1. Be the legal dependent of a Full Time Cypress of Charlotte employee who meets the above qualifications;
  2. Have completed the scholarship application, including the required attachments.

Application Requirements

  1. A completed online scholarship application. Application includes an essay to the Scholarship Committee and transcript of most recent education.
  2. Applicants who are employees of Cypress of Charlotte must include a letter of recommendation from their supervisor.
  3. Dependents of employees must include a letter of recommendation.
