Established to keep the Costners’ spirit of generosity alive, this $2,000 award supports a Cherryville High School (CHS) graduate continuing to an accredited college or university.
Eligibility is limited to CHS students pursuing higher learning.

Up to $2,000
- Awarded to awarded to a Cherryville High School Student seeking higher learning.
Established so that the Costner's legacy of giving may live on through the support of a student recipient.
- Weighted GPA must be considered top 1/3 of class
- Must attend an accredited 2 or 4-year college
- Evidence of participation in school or community extracurricular activities
- Evidence of initiative, motivation, strong character, and leadership
- Evidence of financial need
- Preference for individuals pursuing nursing degrees
