- A $1,000 scholarship for a graduating senior from Cherryville High School, created in memory of Alaina N. Abernathy.
- The Albert G. Myers Scholarship awards up to eight renewable scholarships of $20,000 ($5,000 per year) to graduating Gaston County students.
- Supports Gaston County students preparing for skilled careers in trades or nursing. Eligible for those planning to attend Gaston College, Cleveland CC, York Tech, CPCC, or another accredited college.
- A one-time $2,000 award for a graduating senior from Ashbrook, Bessemer City, Highland School of Technology, or Hunter Huss; for attendance at an accredited NC college or community college.
- A $750 scholarship for students from Gaston or Lincoln counties who have earned a high school diploma and been accepted to an accredited college or university.
- A $500 scholarship for West Lincoln High School seniors with 2+ years’ attendance, 2.5+ GPA, strong involvement, and no discipline referrals.
- A $1,000 scholarship supporting deserving Gaston County high school graduates pursuing college or advanced technical education.
- Scholarship for eligible Cypress of Charlotte employees and dependents pursuing college, university, GED, or CNA programs (nonprofit providers only).
- Supports deserving Gaston County public high school graduates pursuing college or community college in North Carolina; awards include a $2,000 community-college scholarship and a $5,000 UNC-system scholarship, with renewal opportunities.
- $2,000 merit-based scholarship honoring the Cannon family’s legacy. Eligible recipients must maintain a 2.0 GPA; Gaston College awardees may also apply for a one-time $2,000 transfer award to continue at a four-year school.
