TCGC + HELP Carolina

Teens Changing Gaston County continues to make a large impact.

At their March meeting, TCGC welcomed Tasha White, executive director of HELP Carolina, Inc., a Gastonia nonprofit dedicated to helping individuals and families transition out of homelessness through counseling and resource support.

Following her presentation, students packed 120 care bags that were distributed to the unhoused in Gastonia.

This project was funded through a TCGC grant of $800 written and executed by Abby Helms (11th grade) and Tupelo Guzauskas (12th grade), students at Ashbrook High School.
