A Sweet Send-Off: TCGC Celebrates Seniors and Community Connections

Teens Changing Gaston County wrapped up its year with an April gathering at the Foundation, bringing students together for learning and celebration.

Guest speaker Leigh Brinkley, board chair of the Mount Holly Farmers Market, shared insights about the Market’s partnerships with local farmers, its community programs for all ages, and ways students can get involved in its mission.

Following the presentation, TCGC recognized its graduating seniors, who offered thoughtful advice to younger members as they look ahead to their final year of high school.

The evening concluded with fellowship as students enjoyed treats from the Kona Ice Truck, taking in the beautiful weather and spending time together to close out a fun and impactful year.

Teens Changing Gaston County will open the application to participate in July for students who wish to apply for the 2026-2027 school year.
